Lora, CVT - Head Technician - Practice Manager
Lora graduated from North Dakota State University in May 2001 with a B.S. in Veterinary Technology and a minor in microbiology. She joined the team at the Brooklyn Park Pet Hospital in July 2003 after 2 years of experience out of state.
Lora’s special interest is surgical nursing and in her free time she enjoys a good book or movie, scrapbooking, spending time with her family and friends, and searching for the perfect purse (in pink of course).
Her house stays busy with her husband Casey, kids Aidan and Leighton, cat Maycie and her adorable shih tzu Calla.
Jodie, CVT
Jodie began her career as a technician intern here at the hospital in March 1999. Upon graduation from the Medical Institute of Minnesota in June 1999, she came on staff full time.
In her spare time she enjoys camping, gardening and most importantly spending time with her daughter Emma and son Liam. Jodie has one cat named Swizzle.
Lori, CVT
Lori graduated from Purdue University in 1983 with a Veterinary Technology degree. Since graduating, Lori has worked in small animal medicine as a technician in Indiana, Illinois, New Mexico and Minnesota. She even did a full-time stint at the Albuquerque Zoo for four months.
She joined the staff in November of 2001 as the only part-time CVT. Besides her work at BPPH, she enjoys horseback riding, walks with her Australian shepherds, and the precious time with her kids, one in California and the other headed to Mankato in the fall.
Kari, CVT
Kari did her internship in Inver Grove Heights and graduated from Argosy University in January 2006. She joined the team at the Brooklyn Park Pet Hospital in February 2006
In her spare time Kari likes spending time with her husband Steve and daughter Eloise, traveling, shopping, outdoor activities and scrapbooking.
She has two terrier mix dogs named Wall-e and Larry. She also has 3 cats, Iggy, Trinity and Lilly.
April, CVT
April graduated from Globe College in March 2006 with an Associate degree in Veterinary Technology. She is originally from North Dakota and moved to Minnesota / Wisconsin when she was a teenager. April lives in Hudson, WI with her husband, Barry, son Owen and daughter Madison. They also have a Labrador retriever and one cat. She joined the BPPH family in April 2007.
April loves fishing, camping and spending time with her family.
Carol, CVT
Carol attended the University of MN from 1988-1992, and then transferred to MIM and graduated with an Associate degree for Veterinary Technician in June of 1995. She worked for Animal Wellness Clinic for 16 years and joined the Brooklyn Park Pet Hospital in 2011.
Carol enjoys spending time with husband Curt and two daughters Allie and Megan. They have a golden retriever, a pug, numerous fish and a rabbit. Carol loves to travel with her family to various places and enjoys spending summer weekends at the cabin. Some interests include reading, gardening, movies, cabins and volunteering at her children's schools.
